Frustrated at wasting their time on the freeways of Southern California and realizing that like them, most people want more out of life, The Freeway Guides were founded in 2006 by motivational speaker/trainer Susan Leahy MA.ABS, and film director/producer Jared Patrick.
With the goal of creating life-changing training tools, Susan and Jared blended their talents and expertise to create effective, affordable and practical training materials designed especially for busy people on the go.
Partnering with a team of expert speakers and authors, The Freeway Guides launched with a series of business/work related titles and are expanding to include new titles focusing on a wide variety of personal skills and lifestyle related subjects. As The Freeway Guides library continues to grow there will be titles covering every imaginable aspect of life, always featuring top-notch talent and user-friendly information that is:

An established film and television director, Jared Patrick is the co-founder of The Freeway Guides and he supervises all day to day activities of the organization.
Originally from Ottawa, Canada, Jared relocated to Los Angeles in 2000 glad to escape the frosty Canadian winters. Although he loves the Southern California weather, Jared can’t stand the Southland traffic and this is in large part helped to get The Freeway Guides off the ground.
While The Freeway Guides consume much of Jared’s time he manages to regularly work on television shows for a variety of Networks including MTV, Showtime, Bravo, TLC and Fox. On the film side of things Jared recently wrote and directed LAUNDRY NIGHT, a short film that has garnered acclaim at film festivals all across North America. Jared’s next directing project is DARK SOULSTICE, a supernatural thriller to be shot in late 2006. |

Darlene enjoys the challenge of dealing with different areas of business and law. Her background is eclectic, touching such seemingly diverse areas as software development, social policy, national politics and government fiscal policy.
